What´s New

Dear friends,

“Art is never chaste. It ought to be forbidden to ignorant innocents, never allowed into contact with those not sufficiently prepared. Yes, art is dangerous. Where it is chaste, it is not art. (…) Art is an instrument of war.”

This quote by Pablo Picasso cited by Kendell Geers during his conversation with Jean-Paul Marthoz, on March 2 at Maison Particulière, has remained in our thoughts. We would like to thank them again, as well as Human Rights Watch, for giving us the opportunity to reflect on important subjects. And that, two weeks before the closure of the exhibition ta.bu.

Different emotions and a lot of passionate reactions have punctuated the passage of numerous visitors since January 14. The conversations that have been raised, provoked and encouraged by the artworks and the theme of this exhibition, our taboos, the ones of the others, the ones we think not to have, leave little people indifferent.

If you haven't seen ta.bu yet, we are delighted to welcome you until Saturday March 26.
