What´s New

Dear friends,

At the same time From here to eternity started, in presence of many artists and of Angelo Musco, our guest artist, we also announced that this is the very last exhibition at Maison Particulière.

Before we give our reasons behind its closure – to be communicated later this year – we would first like to introduce you to this new exhibition.

It will end on April 30, 2017.

It brings a limited number of works (30) and artists (19) together, whereas until now our average was around one hundred artworks per exhibition.

It is poetical and fairylike; at least we hope it to be.

It lives up to the idea we always strived for – that of showing different visions.

It gives the public the opportunity to discover new artwork, some for the first time on show in Belgium, other made especially for this exhibition.

It shows our love for literature, which takes a special dimension thanks to the choices made by Victor Ginsburgh from Dante’s The Divine Comedy.

It is a witness to the generosity of the artists, who share their thoughts on eternity with us.

And, who says ‘ultimate’, in some way also says eternity.

It is, above all, the evidence of our passion for art.

During this exhibition, we would like to keep you to date with our different activities and our partnerships.

The first date to mark in your agenda is November 19, when Ars Musica organizes a concert at Maison Particulière as part of their festival. This year the title is “The Land of the Rising Sound”; a series of unprecedented meetings in resonance with the musical tradition of Japan.

Because this season we present only one single exhibition, we propose to the members who wish to renew their membership, to do so for the price of 20 euros. It is valid until April 30, 2017 and the conditions remain the same: free entry for you and your guest of choice, and the proposition of several activities.

Don’t forget that our enthusiastic and passionate guides Paul, Veronica, Anne Marie, Paquita, Pascale and Patricia are happy to welcome you on a guided visit! Please sent an e-mail to Margaux De Pauw, mdepauw@maisonparticuliere.be, or call +32 (0) 2 649 81 78.

We hope to welcome many of you here!

Kind regards,

Myriam and Amaury de Solages
